Job Summary
The Retail Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional in-store experience to customers by providing outstanding service, maintaining store presentation standards, and supporting daily retail operations. This role contributes directly to ETHNC’s mission of sharing South Asian-inspired contemporary fashion with the world.
Key Accountabilities
- Customer Experience: Deliver exceptional service by understanding customer needs, offering styling assistance, and representing ETHNC’s brand values with professionalism.
- Sales Support: Drive sales through product knowledge, upselling, and maintaining awareness of promotions and campaigns.
- Visual Merchandising: Support store displays and ensure merchandise presentation aligns with brand standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, organizing, and replenishing stock. Maintain an accurate understanding of available products.
- Store Operations: Support daily operational tasks such as POS transactions, cash handling, fitting room management, and store opening/closing procedures.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Store Manager and fellow associates to achieve sales goals and maintain a cohesive, positive team environment.
- Brand Representation: Uphold ETHNC’s visual and service standards, ensuring every customer interaction reflects the brand’s essence of elegance, culture, and modernity.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers warmly, providing product and styling advice.
- Process sales, exchanges, and returns efficiently using the POS system.
- Maintain sales floor organization, cleanliness, and product presentation.
- Restock merchandise and support inventory counts as required.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints courteously, escalating as needed.
- Follow all store policies, including cash handling, health, and safety protocols.
- Maintain personal grooming standards in line with the ETHNC brand image.
- Support visual merchandising changes for promotions and seasonal campaigns.
- Ensure store facilities (lighting, fitting rooms, displays) remain clean and functional.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
