Zing is hiring an experienced Quality Inspector II to join a leading manufacturing team where every inspection matters. If you're someone who notices the details others miss, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in producing quality work, this is an opportunity to put your skills to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You'll play a key role in ensuring products meet the highest quality standards while partnering with production, engineering, and quality teams to keep operations running smoothly.
- Inspect incoming materials and components using quality inspection plans.
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
- Use gauges, measuring equipment, and microscopes to verify product quality.
- Identify, quarantine, and document nonconforming materials.
- Coordinate calibration of inspection equipment.
- Maintain quality documentation and inspection records using SAP.
- Support warehouse inspections, vendor returns, rework inspections, and die qualifications.
- Train and mentor Quality Inspector I team members.
- Serve as backup for the Quality Lead and Quality Lab Technician.
- Participate in root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Help drive quality excellence across multiple product lines.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of Quality Control experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Experience using gauges, calipers, measuring equipment, and microscopes.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
- Experience with SAP is a plus.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- $23.00 per hour
- D Shift: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- Schedule: Wednesday (every other week) through Saturday
