Our network company Jenacher Engines INNIO Group is eagerly seeking mechanically inclined individuals to train as apprentices in Mechatronics. You will receive on-the-job training while pursuing an all-expenses-paid AAS Degree at WCTC.
As a Mechatronics Technician, you build, maintain, and troubleshoot automated electromechanical systems used in modern manufacturing. Mechatronics Technicians work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and program and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) that control automated equipment.
Start Date: Summer 2026
What is the ICATT Apprenticeship Program?
- Three-year “earn while you learn” program. Get paid an hourly wage and as well as a student stipend
- Get your tuition at Waukesha County Technical College paid for by your company
- You will be rotating between classes at WCTC and hands-on training with Jenbacher Engines
What are the requirements?
- High School Diploma or GED - recent High School graduates welcome!
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Meet placement requirements for enrollment at WCTC
- Veterans are welcome! ICATT is G.I. Bill certified
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to and from work/school
- Employer-specific requirements may apply
- Positions are entry level
