Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Northern Lakes Nursing and Rehab is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our long-term care nursing team.
We are hiring for multiple shifts and flexible scheduling options, including full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities. The ideal candidate is committed to providing respectful, resident-centered care while maintaining high standards of clinical practice, documentation, teamwork, and regulatory compliance.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care in accordance with residents’ care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
- Complete nursing assessments, documentation, and required follow-up.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly notify the appropriate provider and responsible parties.
- Supervise and support CNAs and other assigned nursing personnel.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, providers, pharmacy staff, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Follow infection prevention practices, Enhanced Barrier Precautions, facility policies, and state and federal regulations.
- Participate in care planning, shift-to-shift reporting, incident follow-up, and quality improvement activities.
- Promote a professional, positive, and supportive work environment.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Indiana RN or LPN license.
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Strong assessment, communication, documentation, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience is preferred but not required.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
