Job Overview
Join Daniel Schmitt & Company, a premier classic and luxury car gallery, as our hands-on Bookkeeper & Office Manager. This position demands strong dealership accounting expertise, with Dealertrack DMS proficiency preferred. You'll manage finances and office operations in an exciting environment filled with rare Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, Porsche, and American classics.
Responsibilities
- Perform double-entry bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records
- Handle accounts payable/receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare budgets, variance reports, and assist with tax documents
- Manage daily office tasks: scheduling, vendor relations, filing, correspondence, and customer support
- Ensure GAAP compliance and adherence to dealership policies
Essential Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience with Dealertrack software (required – dealership DMS usage mandatory)
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 2+ years using accounting software (QuickBooks or equivalent required)
- Experience with full-cycle bookkeeping: A/P, A/R, payroll processing, bank & general ledger reconciliations
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- Prior automotive dealership or classic/exotic car experience

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
