Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of multiple hotel properties, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning across all departments
- Lead, supervise, and motivate hotel staff, including front desk personnel, housekeeping, food service, and maintenance teams
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistent delivery of excellent guest services
- Manage revenue streams through strategic pricing, occupancy management, and upselling techniques to maximize profitability
- Coordinate with human resources for staffing, training programs, performance evaluations, and employee engagement initiatives
- Oversee guest relations to ensure high levels of satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
- Monitor financial performance by managing budgets, controlling costs, and analyzing financial reports such as night audit summaries and profit-and-loss statements
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, health standards, and hotel policies at all times
- Utilize multi-line phone systems with proper phone etiquette to handle inquiries efficiently and courteously
- Foster a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork, hospitality excellence, and continuous improvement across all properties
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within the hospitality industry or hotel management roles
- Extensive hotel experience with a comprehensive understanding of hotel operations including front desk management, guest services, and resort amenities
- Strong background in revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy rates and profitability
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively in a multi-property setting
- Knowledge of human resources practices related to staffing, training, and employee relations in hospitality environments
- Experience with budgeting processes and financial analysis relevant to hotel operations
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging with diverse guests and staff members
- Familiarity with night audit procedures and multi-line phone systems is preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills paired with excellent phone etiquette to enhance guest experiences
