What You'll Do
As a Calf Care Attendant, you'll be responsible for the daily care and well-being of calves, helping create a clean, healthy, and comfortable environment for them to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Feed calves according to established schedules and care procedures.
- Monitor calf health and provide additional attention to animals needing assistance.
- Prepare and distribute milk, grain, and fresh water.
- Clean and sanitize bottles, nipples, buckets, feeding equipment, and calf housing to support animal health and biosecurity.
- Maintain clean bedding and assist with pen cleaning and calf movements as needed.
- Help keep facilities, grounds, and work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Follow all safety, animal welfare, and operational procedures.
- Assist with other duties that support the success of the operation.

Physical Requirements
This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Candidates must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
Work Environment
- Primarily outdoor work environment.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions, dust, and agricultural environments.
- Regular interaction with livestock.
- Work around agricultural equipment and machinery.
- Moderate to loud noise levels may be present.
