Step into an impactful role serving preschool students as a Speech-Language Pathologist, covering a maternity leave contract from August 31st to December 18th. This is a full-time opportunity, working onsite with an engaged team and a manageable caseload of 45 children. Your expertise will contribute directly to the early development of communication skills in a supportive school community.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience working in school settings, preferably with preschool-age children
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering growth and inclusion for every student
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, interpreting results for IEP eligibility
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions onsite
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting approaches as needed for optimal outcomes
