The Role
Los Angeles Apparel is seeking a reliable Driver to join our team supporting our SoHo, New York location. This role is responsible for daily transportation of shipments between the airport and store, ensuring timely and secure delivery of goods. This position is ideal for someone dependable, punctual, and comfortable navigating city driving and airport logistics.
Responsibilities

Drive daily from your residence to the airport to pick up incoming shipments.

Daily Shift: 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM

Ensure arrival at the airport by 10:00 AM for scheduled pickups.

Load and unload merchandise (up to 50 lbs) safely and efficiently.

Transport shipments from the airport to the SoHo store, ensuring timely delivery.

Communicate with store staff regarding delivery timing and any delays.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.

Safely park and store the vehicle near your residence when not in use.

Adapt to traffic conditions and airport delays while maintaining schedule flexibility.
Qualifications

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Ability to operate a sprinter van or 8-foot truck.

Must live within approximately 30 minutes of JFK Airport.

Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 50 lbs.

Strong time management and reliability.

Flexible availability to accommodate traffic and airport delays

Must have flexible schedule with the ability to work late nights, weekends, and some holidays
