Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support within our clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient service, and the ability to work effectively in including pain management specialty.
Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and administering injections.
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Schedule appointments and manage clinic systems to ensure efficient workflow.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment.
- Support administrative functions including billing, coding, and insurance verification.
Experience
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is required.
- Previous experience as an MA in a clinical setting preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and service excellence.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
