Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Orientation and mobility specialist certification required
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in school settings
- Proficiency with teletherapy tools and platforms is a plus
- Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapy sessions to students aged 3 through 12th grade
- Complete documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and consult with teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Adapt therapy methods to meet diverse student needs, including virtual instruction if necessary
