We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dock Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading freight, organizing shipments, and ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods in a fast-paced warehouse and dock environment.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers safely and efficiently
- Sort, stage, and organize freight for outgoing and incoming shipments
- Verify shipment contents against paperwork and report discrepancies
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified)
- Maintain a clean and safe dock area at all times
- Follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
- Assist with inventory control and general warehouse duties as needed
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Basic communication skills in English
- Previous warehouse or dock experience preferred but not required
- Forklift certification is a plus
Pay: $23.20 - $28.00 per hour
