Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/One Year Old Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment tailored specifically for infants and one-year-olds. Your primary goal is to support each child's developmental milestones through engaging activities, attentive caregiving, and effective communication with parents. Duties
- Provide attentive supervision and care for infants and one-year-olds, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood development, including motor skills, language acquisition, and social-emotional growth
- Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages exploration, curiosity, and independence
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, developmental observations, and health updates in compliance with licensing standards
- Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine caregiving tasks with compassion and patience
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including first aid, CPR certification, mandated reporting laws, and pediatric first aid procedures
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with infants and toddlers in daycare centers or early childhood education settings
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques
- Certification in first aid, CPR (Child/Infant), and pediatric first aid required; ongoing training encouraged
- Familiarity with special education needs or experience working with children with disabilities is a plus
- Strong classroom management skills combined with nurturing caregiving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration
- Ability to follow state licensing regulations and safety protocols diligently
- Passion for early childhood education and creating positive learning experiences during critical developmental stages
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
