Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team and support Third-Party Administrator (TPA) programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate property restoration estimates, managing insurance claim documentation, and ensuring compliance with TPA requirements and service-level agreements. This role requires strong knowledge of restoration estimating, insurance claim processes, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for residential and commercial property damage using Xactimate.
- Review scopes of work and verify project requirements through site inspections, photos, and documentation.
- Manage estimates and documentation in accordance with TPA guidelines and carrier requirements.
- Communicate with adjusters, property owners, project managers, and insurance representatives throughout the claims process.
- Submit estimates, supplements, and supporting documentation within required timelines.
- Track estimate approvals, revisions, and supplements to maximize project profitability.
- Collaborate with operations and production teams to ensure scopes align with field conditions.
- Maintain organized claim files and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant.
- Monitor TPA scorecards and help maintain high customer satisfaction and compliance ratings.
- Stay current on insurance industry standards, pricing updates, and restoration best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of estimating experience in restoration, construction, or insurance claims.
- Proficiency with Xactimate and Symbility estimating software.
- Experience working with TPAs such as Contractor Connection, Sedgwick, Alacrity Solutions, or similar programs preferred.
- Strong understanding of water, fire, mold, storm, and reconstruction restoration projects.
- Knowledge of insurance claims processes and estimating standards.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Xactimate Level 1, 2, or 3 certification.
- IICRC certifications are a plus.
- Experience with mitigation and reconstruction estimating.
- Familiarity with Dash, MICA, or similar restoration management platforms.
