Position Overview:
This role requires ability to work in a busy environment, excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and prior experience working in a medical office.
Responsibilities:
- Answer a high volume of incoming calls professionally and efficiently.
- Schedule appointments and assist with patient inquiries and route calls as needed.
- Verify patient information and accurately document calls.
- Provide outstanding customer service with every patient interaction.
- Assist with additional administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous call center, medical office or customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Possess a professional and empathetic demeanor.
- A positive attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required: additional training in medical office administration a plus.
