Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Modeling Coach/Choreographer to inspire and develop high schoolers participating in a charity fashion show. This energetic role involves guiding teens in enhancing their posture, modeling presence, runway techniques, and overall performance skills. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in visual and performing arts, with expertise in choreography, and modeling. As a Modeling Coach/Choreographer, you will foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and professionalism while delivering engaging lessons that highlight the art of modeling and performance.
Duties
- Work with the SDVP production team to create and choreograph multiple scenes for groups of 7-10 models for multiple shows.
- Design and implement a curriculum tailored to modeling, runway walking, posing, and stage presence.
- Lead engaging classes focused on choreography, movement techniques, and performance skills to prepare students for runway shows, photo shoots, and competitions.
- 3 modeling classes per show, with 3-4 shows in development.
Experience
- Proven experience as a dancer/model/choreographer
- Experience teaching visual & performing arts with a focus on choreography or modeling instruction.
- Encouraging and open personality.
- Expertise in theater arts, ballet, dancing, or related performance disciplines
- Familiarity with stage management and choreography is essential.
Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
