Job Summary

Duties
- Assist in supervising children across different age groups, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Support lead teachers with classroom activities, including child supervision, play-based learning, and developmental instruction
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that promotes learning and exploration
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that foster social-emotional growth and developmental milestones
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily experiences and progress
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and mandated reporting laws
- Provide coverage for classrooms as needed, stepping into lead or assistant roles to ensure continuous supervision and support
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is preferred
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Classroom management skills with the ability to foster positive behavior and social interactions
- Familiarity with pediatric first aid, CPR, and emergency response procedures (training provided if needed)
- Strong communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration
- Previous nannying or babysitting experience involving infants, toddlers, or young children is advantageous
