The Service Manager main responsibility is to interact with the front of the house team, greeting customers at the entrance, dealing with customer issues and complaints, hiring and training new employees. They also have to create reports that update owners on how the restaurant is performing.
The Service Manager’s common responsibilities are:
- Oversee and guide all activities of the serving and host team
- Coordinate schedules (through Interaction with the business team)
- Ensure team follows best practices and maintain service level
- Scheduling of team
- Develop problem management and service improvement plans.
- Ensure customer/business, client, support, technical parties are represented in the definition and evolution of services
