American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Charge Nurse role in a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility setting in Maine, requiring a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience and an active ME or Compact RN license.

Active State of Maine or Compact RN license, currently in hand

Current BLS/BCLS certification required

Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required

Associate's Degree (2-year college) in Nursing required

DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Serves as Charge Nurse, quality management coordinator, and unit resource, with administrative backup support in the Director's absence

Coordinates and directs total nursing care for an assigned group of residents/patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care

Participates in patient/resident and family education and works collaboratively with ancillary nursing and interdisciplinary team members

Maintains resident/patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with facility policies
