What You'll Do
As a Restaurant General Manager, you'll have full responsibility for one Arby's restaurant, leading every aspect of the business including operations, people development, guest satisfaction, sales, profitability, food safety, and community engagement.
You'll create an environment where employees thrive, guests return, and business results consistently exceed expectations.
Restaurant Operations
- Lead all daily restaurant operations while maintaining company standards for food quality, cleanliness, food safety, and exceptional guest service.
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, labor management, inventory, ordering, cash handling, and restaurant maintenance.
- Ensure operational excellence through consistent execution of company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming restaurant environment.
Financial & Business Management
- Own the restaurant's financial performance and profitability.
- Forecast sales and labor to maximize efficiency and guest service.
- Control food, labor, inventory, and operating costs while meeting or exceeding budget goals.
- Review financial reports and key performance indicators to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee payroll, timekeeping, inventory counts, cash management, and deposit procedures.
Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop restaurant employees and management team members.
- Build a positive, accountable, high-performing culture.
- Mentor future leaders through ongoing coaching, feedback, recognition, and development.
- Conduct team meetings and communicate company initiatives and restaurant goals.

Guest Experience & Sales Growth

Qualifications
We're looking for leaders who have:
- Minimum of 2 years of management or leadership experience (restaurant, retail, hospitality, or service industry preferred)
- Experience managing restaurant operations, customer service, staffing, and financial performance
- Experience with recruiting, hiring, coaching, and developing employees
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Ability to analyze financial reports and make sound business decisions
- Ability to execute local marketing and sales-building initiatives
- Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, where permitted by applicable law
- ServSafe certification required within the first year of employment (training provided at the first available opportunity)
- Typically scheduled to work approximately 50 hours per week based on business needs. Hours may vary.
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Stand and walk for the duration of scheduled shifts
- Frequently bend, reach, stoop, and carry items
- Safely lift up to 50 pounds
