Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with a passion for providing exceptional patient service. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering various massage techniques tailored to meet the individual needs of clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Perform therapeutic massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities as needed.
- Assess clients' physical conditions and discuss their needs to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and in good working order.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide recommendations for follow-up treatments.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with medical terminology standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in occupational health settings as necessary.
- Provide outstanding customer service to ensure a positive experience for all clients.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pain management techniques.
- Experience in med spa environments is preferred but not required.
- Excellent patient service skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their treatment options and progress.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to massage therapy practices.
- Previous experience in customer service roles is a plus.
