Job Summary
HiHealthCare is seeking dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our per diem team. This role offers the flexibility to work across a variety of healthcare settings, including long-term care facilities, correctional facilities, juvenile detention centers, clinics, and hospitals. Ideal for CNAs who value flexible scheduling, diverse clinical experience, and making a meaningful impact in patient care.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.

Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.

Assist nurses and healthcare providers with basic procedures and patient care tasks as assigned.

Ensure patient comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies.

Follow all infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulations.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.

Adapt quickly to different facility environments, policies, and patient populations.

Qualifications
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Hawaii.

Minimum 1 year of CNA experience in a facility-based setting (LTC, hospital, clinic, or similar) preferred.

Current BLS/CPR certification.

Ability to work in diverse healthcare settings, including corrections or juvenile facilities, as assigned.

Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills.

Reliable, professional, and able to work independently when needed.
