Duties
- Lead food production efforts, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations.
- Manage inventory control and food safety practices to minimize waste and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Oversee menu planning, incorporating diverse culinary techniques and dietary considerations to cater to various guest preferences.
- Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional service quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, adhering to strict food handling and safety protocols.
- Manage shift operations, including scheduling, food service management, and ensuring smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
Experience
- Proven culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining, catering, or restaurant management.
- Demonstrated supervising experience in a busy kitchen or hospitality setting.
- Extensive knowledge of food safety standards, inventory management, and food handling procedures.
- Experience in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management within the food industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
- Previous roles involving shift management, food production oversight, or restaurant experience are preferred.
