200-Acre Farm and Residential Development
We are hiring a dependable general construction laborer to help build and maintain a 200-acre farm subdivision in the Treasure Valley area.
This is a hands-on position involving many different types of construction and farm-development work. Depending on the project and the day, you may assist with roofing, framing, siding, concrete preparation, dirt work, fencing, material handling, property cleanup, equipment support, and general home construction.
You do not need to be an expert in every trade. We primarily need someone who is reliable, physically capable, willing to learn, and ready to help wherever needed.
This is outdoor construction work. It can be hot, cold, dusty, muddy, physically demanding, and occasionally repetitive. The right person will show up consistently, follow instructions, work safely, stay productive, and take pride in completing the job correctly.
Typical Duties
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with residential roofing installation and repairs
- Carrying roofing materials and tools
- Working safely on ladders, scaffolding, and roofs
- Helping with framing, sheathing, siding, and general home construction
- Loading, unloading, moving, and organizing construction materials
- Assisting with demolition, tear-offs, and job-site cleanup
- Picking up nails, scraps, and construction debris
- Helping with fencing, gates, barns, outbuildings, and farm infrastructure
- Assisting with trenching, grading, drainage, and general dirt work
- Supporting equipment operators and skilled tradespeople
- Using basic hand tools and power tools
- Protecting buildings, vehicles, equipment, and surrounding property
- Performing other construction, maintenance, or farm-development work as needed
The work will change as the development progresses. Applicants must be comfortable helping with different tasks rather than performing only one trade.
Qualifications
Construction or roofing experience is helpful, but it is not required for someone who is dependable and willing to learn.
Applicants should be able to:
- Show up on time and work consistently
- Follow instructions and accept correction
- Work safely on and around roofs
- Work comfortably at heights
- Lift and carry construction materials
- Perform physically demanding work throughout the day
- Work outdoors in heat, cold, wind, dust, and changing weather
- Stay productive without constantly using a phone
- Work independently and as part of a crew
- Take care of tools, equipment, materials, and property
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Pass a basic background and job-site trustworthiness review
A driver’s license is not required. However, the employee must have a dependable way to arrive at the designated work location on time.

Schedule and Compensation
- Position: Full-time
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8AM - 4:30 PM
- Location: 200-acre farm and residential development near Kuna
- Work availability: Some work may be weather dependent
