About Us
Pompadour Café is a specialty café serving premium coffee, handcrafted crêpes, chocolate-covered fruit cups, sandwiches, and desserts. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Food Prep team member who enjoys working in a fast-paced café environment and takes pride in creating beautiful, high-quality food.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook sweet crêpes according to Pompadour Café recipes.
- Prepare chocolate-covered strawberry and banana cups with consistent presentation.
- Slice and prepare fresh fruits and other ingredients.
- Restock ingredients and maintain an organized prep station.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Assist with general kitchen prep and cleaning duties.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality.
Qualifications
- Experience making crêpes is required.
- Experience preparing desserts or chocolate-covered fruit is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and presentation.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- California Food Handler Card (or willingness to obtain one).
