We are looking to add to our Ellie’s Table Egan House team! Located in San Juan Capistrano, Ellie’s Table, a Jay’s Catering Company, is a celebration of Eleanor Mastroianni and her culinary talents. Not only are we known for our hand-crafted French pastries, filling breakfast options, Famous Palm Sandwiches, and fine gourmet coffee, but we also take pride in our friendly staff and involvement in the local community to ensure our slogan: Happiness is Homemade.

Pay:
$25.00 – 28.00 per hour including gratuity based on experience

Schedule:
Café is open Tuesday through Sunday and closed on Mondays.
Full time position needs open availability.
Most likely shifts would be 6:30am-2:30pm or 8:00am-4:00pm
Essential Job Duties:
- Must have barista experience and some latte art is mandatory (you will be asked to make one cappuccino and one latte with art)
- Enjoy talking with our customers and have a friendly, hospitality driven demeanor
- Communicate professionally and clearly with guests and coworkers
- Ability to operate a sales register
- Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a very fast-paced work environment
- Be knowledgeable and passionate about our food
- Keep an orderly restaurant by maintaining cleanliness of all spaces and bus tables
- Server experience helpful
Qualifications:
- Proven barista experience with a strong understanding of coffee preparation and latte art.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to enhance the customer experience.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling practices in a café environment.
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
