Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled EXPERIENCED Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and attention to detail. The Pet Groomer will be responsible for ensuring the overall health, hygiene, and appearance of our furry friends. This role requires a gentle and experienced individual who can work effectively with animals of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
Responsibilities
- Clean and efficiently groom dogs in a timely manner
- Use specialized equipment and techniques to trim nails, bathe, brush, and style coats
- Assist with dog training and behavioral issues within grooming
- Use animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both animals and groomers
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Perform routine tasks, such as cleaning and disinfecting equipment, and restocking supplies
- Collaborate with veterinarians and veterinary assistants to provide the best possible care for our animals

Experience
- Previous experience as a Pet Groomer, animal caretaker, or in a related field
- Strong knowledge of animal behavior, restraint techniques, and veterinary care
- Ability to lift and move animals of various sizes and weights
- Experience with dog restraint and safe grooming handling
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods
Skills
- Proficiency in dog handling and grooming techniques
- Knowledge of equine grooming and care
- Experience with pet sitting and dog training
- Familiarity with animal restraint techniques
- Familiarity with breed standard trims
- Experience with handing animal first aid
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to provide pet care and grooming services
- Knowledge of veterinary care and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move animals of various sizes and weights
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,729.00 - $90,000.00 per year
