The HVAC–DDC System Assessment Technical Representative is responsible for performing a comprehensive evaluation of the facility's HVAC and Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems, which are currently in operational failure and causing moisture-related building damage. The representative will conduct on-site diagnostics, testing, calibration, and provide corrective reprogramming of the Trane Tracer SC+ system. The role includes performing a full system assessment, documenting findings, and preparing a detailed corrective action report.
Documentation Review
-
Review as-built mechanical and control drawings, Sequence of Operations (SOO), historical maintenance logs, repair records, and trend data.
On-Site Technical Assessment
Perform full evaluation of: DDC ControllersNetwork
-
Verify communication/power status and diagnose software alarmsprogramming faults.
SensorsDevices
-
Calibrate all critical sensors (temperature, humidity, and pressure).
-
Test actuators, valves, VAVs, and VFDs through full range of motion.
Mechanical HVAC Equipment
-

Confirm ability to maintain temperature/humidity setpoints under load.
Corrective Action Deliverables
-
Provide root-cause analysis of system failures.
-
Deliver prioritized recommendations for repairs, replacements, upgrades, and programming changes.
-
Provide defective component list and a combined mechanical/DDC maintenance checklist.
-
Provide updated or proposed Sequence of Operations (SOO).
Tools, MaterialsLogistics
