Overview

Duties
- Perform routine pool maintenance including water testing, chemical balancing, and filter cleaning to maintain water quality standards.
- Conduct thorough pool cleaning using hand tools and power tools to scrub surfaces, vacuum debris, and ensure a spotless appearance.
- Inspect pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; troubleshoot issues and perform repairs or coordinate repairs with service technicians.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to identify equipment malfunctions and carry out necessary repairs or replacements efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, chemical treatments, and repair work for each pool serviced.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all maintenance procedures to protect yourself and clients’ property.
- Assist with seasonal opening and closing procedures to prepare pools for use or winterization.
Experience
- Prior experience as a service technician or in a pool maintenance role is highly preferred. But by all means not required
- Proven experience in pool cleaning, chemical balancing, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with the use of various maintenance tools and equipment necessary for pool care.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently in outdoor conditions while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour
