You’ll partner with a supportive district team, with your specific caseload and age group thoughtfully matched to your experience and interests during the interview process. Record-keeping and daily service documentation are important aspects of this position, providing structure and clarity to the support you deliver. Flexibility and a collaborative spirit are key, as final interviews will be scheduled once district budget planning is complete in June or early July.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Educator Certification for Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVIs)
- Experience working with students with visual impairments in a school setting is preferred
- Ability to provide effective, individualized instruction and support
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to complete daily logs to track services
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students with visual impairments
