Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling with accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, balancing registers at shift end, and performing basic math calculations for sales reconciliation.
- Assist in food service operations when needed, including serving food at bars or banquet events.
- Monitor alcohol consumption responsibly, adhering to legal regulations and promoting safe drinking practices.
- Support inventory management by tracking stock levels, restocking supplies, and communicating needs to management.
Skills
- Proven experience working as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings; catering or food industry experience is highly valued.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and responsible serving practices.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for sales transactions, retail math calculations, and inventory tracking.
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in various settings including nightclubs or catering events; familiarity with food industry standards is preferred.
- Familiarity with brewing processes or hospitality operations enhances your versatility as a team member.
