Must be willing to travel between two offices on alternating days. One located in Spanish Fork and the other in American Fork.
Starting out 3 days a week M,W,F. As the practice grows would go up to 4 days including Th.
We are looking for a motivated, highly organized Surgical Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and values true clinical excellence.
What You’ll Do (Job Responsibilities)
As a core member of our surgical team, you will provide critical chairside/table support and manage perioperative patient care. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Surgical Assisting: Assist the surgeon during a variety of outpatient procedures, including facial aesthetic/reconstructive surgeries.
Sterile Field Management: Prepare operating and procedure rooms, ensuring strict adherence to aseptic techniques, OSHA regulations, and infection control protocols.
Patient Care & Education: Welcome patients, review medical histories, confirm consents, and deliver clear, empathetic pre- and post-operative care instructions.
Anesthesia & Vitals Monitoring: Safely monitor patient vital signs and assist with IV sedation protocols under direct surgical supervision.
Logistics & Inventory: Manage surgical trays, and accurately document surgical and anesthesia notes.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a surgical assistant, preferably within oral and maxillofacial surgery, plastic surgery, or a high-volume surgical specialty.
Certifications:
CPR/BLS Certification (Required).
DAANCE or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) designation is a strong plus.
Skills: Exceptional hand-eye coordination, strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
