About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced LTL Freight Broker to join our growing transportation team. This role is ideal for a logistics professional with a strong background in Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) transportation, an active book of business, and a proven ability to generate revenue within a brokerage or 3PL environment.
The ideal candidate understands LTL pricing, carrier relationships, freight classification, and customer service, and is looking for the flexibility of a remote role backed by a strong operations team.

Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an existing book of business focused on LTL transportation.
- Develop new shipper relationships through prospecting, referrals, and networking.
- Provide LTL freight solutions for customers across multiple industries.
- Build and maintain relationships with LTL carriers and transportation partners.
- Generate accurate freight quotes and negotiate rates.
- Coordinate shipments from pickup through delivery.
- Resolve service issues, claims, and exceptions while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with operations to ensure on-time and successful freight execution.
- Maintain accurate customer and shipment information within company systems.
- Consistently meet or exceed revenue and gross profit goals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in LTL brokerage, 3PL sales, or transportation logistics.
- Active book of business required.
- Proven history of generating freight revenue and gross profit.
- Strong understanding of LTL carrier pricing, NMFC classifications, freight classes, and accessorial charges.
- Experience working with national and regional LTL carriers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing relationships with shippers moving LTL freight regularly.
- Experience with carriers such as FedEx Freight, Old Dominion, XPO, Estes, R+L Carriers, SAIA, Dayton Freight, and Southeastern Freight Lines.
- Experience utilizing LTL rating tools and transportation management systems.
- Ability to transition customer relationships within the first 90 days.
- Experience selling additional services such as Truckload, Volume LTL, Partial, Expedited, or Final Mile.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
