What to Expect
The Workplace Operations Technician will help create and maintain a functional, welcoming employee experience at Giga Nevada by performing day-to-day maintenance tasks. The position involves all aspects of customer service and requires a professional positive attitude. Applicants must demonstrate reliability, initiative, and a desire to learn.
What You'll Do-
Provides excellent customer service to all clients, both internal and external

Performs diverse tasks in various settings, including offices, warehouses, and cafeterias, supporting inventory management and event operations

Supports preventive maintenance programs for office assets and equipment, conducting routine field inspections

Utilizes digital project management software and communication platforms for daily task prioritization

Ensures safety compliance, identifies workplace hazards, and uses basic tools and equipment

Assembles equipment and furniture, loads/unloads items, collaborates with other teams, and problem-solves creatively using provided instructions

Forklift experience preferred

Ability to take direction with attention to detail and complete follow through

Must have strong interpersonal skills, along with the ability to professionally interact with all levels of management, our internal customers, and our vendors

Willingness to provide feedback, ideas, and best practices to management

Adept at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and eager to learn and try new tasks

Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
