As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll support both legacy and modern manufacturing equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers a strong mix of mechanical, electrical, automation, and facilities work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and growth.
You’ll work closely with production, engineering, and fellow maintenance team members to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and strengthen maintenance documentation and processes.
Preventive Maintenance & Equipment Reliability
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment
- Inspect machinery to identify wear, risks, or emerging issues
- Respond to maintenance work orders and communicate progress clearly
- Support integration of new or replacement equipment into maintenance plans
Mechanical Maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair motors, gearboxes, belts, bearings, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Maintain production and support equipment such as forklifts, lifts, scrubbers, and skid loaders
- Help implement long-term PM schedules and best practices
Electrical & Automation Support
- Diagnose and repair basic electrical issues in manufacturing equipment
- Assist with PLCs, sensors, HMIs, drives, and other automation components
- Support automation installations and system integrations
- Learn and support digital manufacturing equipment
Facilities & Building Maintenance
- Perform maintenance on HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and general facility systems
- Assist with inspections and facility improvement projects
- Help maintain outdoor areas and equipment storage spaces
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Improve maintenance documentation, asset records, and PM tracking
- Assist with CMMS or maintenance tracking systems
- Identify process gaps and contribute improvement ideas
- Promote safety and operational excellence at all times
Required Qualifications
- Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting skills with preventive maintenance focus
- Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical documentation
- Comfortable using computers for maintenance documentation
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PLCs, sensors, or industrial automation
- Technical certification or vocational training
- Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience
- Familiarity with CMMS systems
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Spanish bilingual skills a plus
- Lift up to 20 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally
- Stand for extended periods; bend, climb, and work in tight or elevated spaces
- Perform hands-on mechanical and electrical tasks safely
