What You’ll Do
- Provide expert nursing care to ICU patients, adapting practices to meet diverse needs
- Utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, and implementation of patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Serve as a leader within the interdisciplinary team, delegating and managing resources
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC documentation system
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition swiftly and appropriately
- Promote patient safety, privacy, and comfort throughout your shift
What You Need
Required:
- Active RN license in Louisiana
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Certification (current)
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Additional certifications relevant to ICU specialization
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good judgment and ability to work under pressure
