Prepare and maintain surgical suites to the highest sterile standards

Provide proactive intraoperative support to surgeons and staff

Ensure accurate handling, setup, and availability of surgical instruments and supplies

Anticipate procedural needs based on surgeon preference and case flow

Assist with room turnover to ensure efficiency between cases

Perform surgical counts in compliance with safety protocols

Maintain and monitor sterile technique throughout procedures

Assist with positioning and preparing patients for surgery

Inspect, clean, and restock instruments and equipment

Promote efficiency and excellence throughout each procedure

Uphold the highest standards of safety and patient care

Surgical Technologist certification (preferred) or relevant experience

Current BLS certification

Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical procedures

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-focus environment

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Licensed as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, or experience as a Surgical Technician.

Current CPR and ACLS certification for Registered Nurses.

Current CPR certification for Licensed Practical Nurse or Surgical Technician.

Certification preferred but not required for Surgical Technicians.

Demonstrates ability to stand and/or walk at least five hours per day

Demonstrates ability to lift and/or carry over 20 pounds on a regular basis

Demonstrates ability to push/pull over 25 pounds on a regular basis.
