Warehouse Worker Seasonal (Full time) – Wood Stain Manufacturing Facility
Location: Portland, Oregon
Job Overview:

Education & Experience Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma; associate’s degree or higher recommended. Ideal for college students seeking work in the summer.
- Experience: Warehouse or manufacturing experience is helpful but not mandatory. Preferred skills include woodworking, packaging, tinting machine and/or sales. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus.
- Application: Resume required; up to two letters of recommendation from previous employers or teachers preferred.
- Math: Required proficiency in high school level math or more.
Primary ResponsibilitiesInitial Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment & Packaging
- Accurately fulfill and package orders for in-store, online, and commercial customers.
- Inventory & Stocking
- Maintain inventory records and stock chemical ingredients, tints, and supplies.
- Warehouse & Facility Maintenance
- Keep workspace organized and clean.
- Stain manufacturing.
- Conduct regular facility upkeep, including floor cleaning and graffiti removal.
Progressive Responsibilities (Upon Proficiency):
- Loading & Unloading Shipments
- Safely manage shipments with a forklift (training provided if needed).
- Customer Interaction
- Communication & Team Support
- Conduct weekly check-ins to assist with cleaning, organizing, and monitoring supply levels.
Advanced Responsibilities & Growth Opportunities:
- Coordinate order prioritization with management based on stock levels.
- Communicate supply needs for efficient workflows and address shipping concerns.
- Participate in weekly meetings on facility organization, event preparation, and facility upgrades.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. overhead regularly.
- Comfortable working in an environment that includes exposure to wood stains and manufacturing materials (proper safety equipment provided).
- Ability to bend, stoop, climb ladders, and operate warehouse equipment safely.
