Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, debris removal, and surface sanitation to prepare properties for restoration.
- Conduct water damage restorations by extracting water, drying structures, and cleaning affected areas with specialized equipment.
- Execute mold remediation procedures to identify mold growth, contain affected areas, and safely remove mold colonies.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to dismantle damaged structures, install necessary components, or prepare surfaces for repairs.
- Assist with asbestos abatement projects by following safety protocols and proper handling procedures when required.
- Support construction activities related to restoration projects such as framing, drywall installation, or minor repairs.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and progress updates for each project.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of water damage restoration, mold remediation techniques.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong understanding of cleaning processes and equipment used in restoration work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to tackling diverse restoration challenges.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is often required; willingness to travel between job sites as needed. Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
