Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency calls for water, fire, flood, and mold-related incidents, ensuring rapid deployment of restoration services
- Perform cleaning, water damage restoration, fire restoration, flood restoration, and mold remediation tasks with precision and care
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport equipment and personnel to job sites
- Use hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and other specialized machinery to complete restoration projects efficiently
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) use and respiratory protection measures during hazardous tasks such as asbestos abatement and mold removal
- Conduct on-site assessments to determine scope of work; prepare detailed estimates using Xactimate software when necessary
- Execute construction activities related to restoration projects while maintaining high standards of safety and quality assurance
- Maintain clear communication with clients to provide updates on project progress and ensure customer satisfaction
- Assist with on-call coverage for emergency response situations outside regular working hours
Skills
- Proven experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields with a strong understanding of safety protocol adherence
- Knowledge of water damage restoration, fire restoration, flood recovery, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement procedures
- Ability to operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning machines, and company vehicles confidently
- Familiarity with Xactimate or similar estimating software for project documentation and billing
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward client interaction
- Strong emergency response readiness skills with the ability to act quickly under pressure
- Physical ability to perform strenuous tasks including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces
- Commitment to safety practices including PPE use and respiratory protection at all times
