Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician (Multi-Unit Restaurant)
Pay: $50.00 / hour + mileage reimbursement

We take pride in our spaces and are looking for a dedicated professional to keep our operations running smoothly.
Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled, independent Facilities Maintenance Technician to oversee preventative maintenance and light repairs across our 7 Houston locations. This is an ideal role for a seasoned tradesperson or commercial property tech who enjoys variety, independent work, and a stable hourly wage.
Core Responsibilities:
- HVAC & Refrigeration: Conduct basic diagnostic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance (filter changes, coil cleaning) on HVAC systems and commercial walk-in coolers.
- Plumbing: Address commercial kitchen plumbing needs, including repairing/replacing faucets, sprayers, turnoff valves, unclogging drains, and troubleshooting hot water heaters.
- Electrical: Diagnose and repair minor electrical issues, replace faulty wiring/outlets, and install/maintain lighting fixtures.
- General Carpentry & Repairs: Handle drywall patching, painting touch-ups, tile/grout repair, and minor furniture/hardware fixes to keep front-of-house looking pristine.
- Kitchen Equipment: Perform minor troubleshooting on commercial kitchen appliances and coordinate with specialized OEMs/warranties for major overhauls.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in commercial property maintenance, restaurant facilities, or a combination of plumbing/HVAC trades.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC and commercial refrigeration systems (EPA certification is a major plus, though not strictly required if highly experienced).
- Must have your own reliable vehicle and basic set of tools.
- Highly communicative, proactive, and able to prioritize tasks across multiple locations.
Mileage Reimbursement:
Examples of things that qualify for mileage reimbursement:
- Incremental trips beyond a To and From work.
- Traveling in between two of our locations (i.e. starting at our San Felipe St location then going to our Katy Fwy location)
- Trip to Home Depot
Does not qualify:
- Going into work, regardless of location. This may change if we open up a location further out
- Driving home from work, regardless of restaurant location. This may change if we open up a location further out
