Polaris Freightways is hiring CDL-A drivers for a dedicated grocery account based out of a grocery distribution center in Aurora, CO. This fleet offers steady refrigerated freight, no-touch loads, new 2025 automatic trucks, and local or regional route options serving Colorado, Southern Wyoming, and Eastern Utah.
This is a 24/7 operation with a mix of nights, evenings, early mornings, and weekend work. Drivers should be comfortable with a flexible start window and a 6-days-on, 2-days-off schedule.
Pay and Lane Highlights
- Average weekly pay: $1,700-$1,800
- Mileage pay from $0.70-$0.80 CPM based on experience
- Average 1,700 miles per week
- $17 stop pay, with an average of 13 stops per week
- Up to 3% additional bonus for safe, on-time deliveries
- Detention pay after 2 hours, up to $150
- No-touch refrigerated freight
- Mix of live unload and drop-and-hook loads
- New 2025 automatic trucks
- Regional trucks include automatic chains

Route and Schedule Details
Local drivers run from Aurora, CO to grocery stores throughout Colorado and Cheyenne, WY. Local routes are home daily, with occasional overnight runs during surge periods. Local drivers park their truck at the designated facility.
Regional drivers run primarily in Colorado, Southern Wyoming, and Eastern Utah. Regional drivers could expect to come through the house about every other day with a 34-hour reset weekly.
Drivers average 1-3 loads per day depending on route needs. Freight is steady, store delivery work with predictable customer locations. Trucks may be parked at an approved secure location or Love’s Truck Stop when allowed, but not at a driver’s home.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A
- Minimum 3 months of driving experience
- Comfortable with refrigerated freight and store delivery routes
- Able to work nights, evenings, early mornings, weekends, and a flexible schedule
- Must meet company safety, driving record, DOT physical, and drug screen requirements
