Job Summary: To serve food and beverages to guest while ensuring an exceptional client experience and adhering to company policies and procedures.
List of primary responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Provide guests with a 5-star hospitality experience
- Set up tableware according to table layout
- Attend and participate in shift meetings
- Start shift in proper service attire
- Clock out for meal break according to the California Break Law as scheduled
- Announce tray passed items by full name with a smile and impeccable service
- Be aware of allergy information for menu items
- Set up all food service items according to menu needs (buffet, coffee, dessert, etc)
- Communicate any damage to equipment or facilities to Management
- Suggest new procedures to Management for efficiency and safety
- Follow opening and closing checklists
- Ensure Timeline objectives are being met
- Check out with FOH Manager before leaving
- Ensure furniture and facility is tidy, clean and presentable for weekly tours and events at end of the night
- Adhere to our hygiene policy in employee handbook
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand for 8+ hours
Required skills: Exceptional hospitality skills, organization, time management, self-motivated, work well with a team, professional, positive and pleasant communication skills and demeanor, self-awareness, ServSafe Certified, RBS Certified, minimum four years fine dining serving experience; wedding experience preferred.

Chef Cordelia began catering events in Los Angeles in 2007. Since then we have grown steadily and organically, expanding our client and venue roster. In 2016 we secured an exclusive contract with the Malibou Lake Mountain Club, and took over management of their event space, re-conceptualizing it as The Lodge at Malibou Lake.
