Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and detailing of semi trucks, including washing, buffing, vacuuming, and interior cleaning to ensure top-notch vehicle presentation.
- Use automotive buffers and cleaning tools to restore vehicle surfaces, making sure each truck looks its best.
- Assist with general shop duties such as organizing supplies, maintaining cleanliness of the work area, and janitorial tasks to promote a safe and efficient environment.
- Support with vehicle maintenance tasks like minor repairs under supervision.
- Safely lift heavy equipment or parts as needed for cleaning or maintenance tasks while adhering to safe work practices.
- Drive company vehicles when necessary for moving trucks within the facility or to designated locations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with team members and ensuring vehicles meet cleanliness standards before delivery or dispatch.
Requirements
- Prior experience in auto detailing facilities or car washes is highly preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of vehicle cleaning techniques including buffing, polishing, and detailing processes.
- Familiarity with custodial or janitorial work to maintain a clean shop environment.
- Experience with automotive buffers, window tinting, or similar detailing tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safe work practices when handling chemicals, equipment, or performing physical tasks.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate shop vehicles as needed.
