Main Responsibilities
- Welcome homeowners, renters, guests, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Check renters and guests in and out of the campground.
- Manage campground reservations, cancellations, modifications, and extensions.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Explain campground rules, policies, amenities, procedures, and available services.
- Prepare rental agreements and ensure renters understand rental terms, deposits, fees, and policies.
- Collect rental fees, deposits, balances, and other approved charges.
- Process credit/debit cards and other approved forms of payment accurately.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, check-ins, check-outs, renter information, and payments.
- Assist homeowners, renters, and guests with general questions, forms, applications, and community procedures.
- Process and maintain renter registrations, guest information, vehicle information, and other required community records.
- Assist with vehicle, golf cart, and vessel registrations and decal records.
- Coordinate with security regarding guest access, renter arrivals, vehicle issues, and community incidents.
- Receive, document, and forward maintenance requests and follow up on outstanding issues when necessary.
- Coordinate with maintenance regarding site readiness and other property-related concerns.
- Assist with documenting community violations, including organizing reports, photos, and supporting information for management review.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical files, including owner, renter, vendor, and property records.
- Scan, upload, file, and distribute documents as needed.
- Receive and distribute mail, packages, checks, applications, and other documents delivered to the office.
- Assist management with community notices, emails, forms, reports, correspondence, and other administrative tasks.
- Communicate with vendors and contractors when directed by management.
- Maintain accurate logs of incidents, calls, requests, payments, and follow-up items.
- Assist homeowners, renters, and guests with questions, concerns, complaints, and special requests.
- Handle difficult situations professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect homeowner, renter, payment, and personal information.
- Keep the front desk, reception area, and office records organized and presentable.
- Complete daily cash reconciliation and other required administrative reports.
- Follow campground safety, emergency, payment, and customer-service procedures.
- Communicate important information between shifts to ensure continuity of service.
- Assist with other front-desk, administrative, and campground duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent or highly proficient in both English and Spanish, verbally and in writing.
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Ability to work holidays and varying shifts as scheduled.
- Excellent customer-service and communication skills.
- Professional, friendly, and positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, reservations, and customer requests simultaneously.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with email and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to learn property-management and reservation software quickly.
- Ability to accurately process payments and maintain records.
- Strong written communication and recordkeeping skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult situations.
- Comfortable following and professionally enforcing established community rules and procedures.
- Ability to handle confidential homeowner, renter, financial, and association information.
Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service, hospitality, office administration, front desk operations, rentals, or a similar role is preferred.
- Experience working in a fast-paced office or customer-facing environment is preferred.
- Training will be provided for campground-specific systems and procedures.
Physical / Work Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods when necessary.
- Comfortable working in an outdoor campground environment and varying weather conditions when required.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
Key Performance Expectations
The successful candidate should provide excellent service to homeowners, renters, guests, and visitors while maintaining accurate reservation, payment, registration, and community records. The role requires strong organization, professionalism, clear communication, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
Pay: $17.00 per hour
