The Primary role of the Barback is to ensure that the bar is set and maintained so that the bar staff is equipped to run an effective operation. Duties include preparing juices and garnishes, restocking coolers and storage areas, maintaining the cleanliness of the bar area, delivering food to bar guests, and setting up and breaking down of bar. Must be pleasant, conscientious, and professional with good knowledge of alcoholic beverage selections and garnish techniques. Must be able to operate effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly, and ensure smooth service operations and quality service. Stocks and organizes all beverages in the bar area including alcohol, juices, N/A, mixers, etc.
Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements of the restaurant employees and guests.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in communication with guests, suppliers, and colleagues.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior hospitality and/ or food & beverage experience preferred
