Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in cooking dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Support menu planning by prepping ingredients and ensuring timely meal assembly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and handling protocols.
- Help with food presentation, garnishing, and portioning to ensure visually appealing plates.
- Assist in catering events or special meal services as needed, ensuring smooth operation from start to finish.
- Follow all health regulations related to food safety, sanitation, and proper storage practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality food delivery.
Skills
- Previous experience in food preparation, kitchen work, or the food industry is highly valued.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in basic cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and sanitation standards.
- Experience with menu planning, meal prep, and food service operations.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
