We are hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to work at our property in Citrus Heights, CA. Under the supervision of the Property Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the overall maintenance of the property. This position will also assist in managing a second property on a routines basis with a Maintenance Technician as part of their team.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
After-Hours On-Call Emergency: Weekly and on weekends (as needed)
Perform typical maintenance duties such as, but not limited to:
- Assuring all assigned work orders are accurately completed
- Light electrical repairs
- Light plumbing repairs
- Painting, interior and exterior
- Light carpentry
- Assisting with move-ins, move-outs and annual inspections
- Cleaning common areas
- Maintaining inventory control of all on-site tools, equipment and supplies
- Replacing blinds, drapes, locks, screens, filters, and bulbs
- Cleaning trash container area
- Complying with company safety policies and procedures
- Reliable knowledge of all utility routing and shut-offs
- Maintaining shop, storage and equipment is secure
- Participating in preventive maintenance program.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English as required to perform the essential functions of the position
- Ability to respond to after hours emergencies on occasion
- Must be able to travel between work sites on a daily basis as needed
- At least 2 years experience in apartment and/or residential maintenance
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisor role
- Prior experience in Apartment or Hotel industry
- Support hospitality-style operations with a focus on short-term stays
- Efficiently complete high-volume unit turns with a focus on quality and accuracy
- Ensure exceptional attention to detail across all tasks
- Collaborate seamlessly with property and operations teams
- Utilize strong maintenance skills (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, 10 pounds over head and scale ladders
- Pride of workmanship, self-motivated
- Ability to prioritize and work independently
- Good communication skills and professional appearance
- Organized with great attention to detail
- Capable of performing sustained manual labor
- Ability to work in inclement weather
