Duties
Greet patients warmly and manage their appointment scheduling with efficiency and professionalism
- Explain treatment plans clearly, addressing patient questions and concerns to ensure understanding
- Verify insurance benefits, submit claims, and handle billing processes accurately using patient management software
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) with precision, ensuring all patient information is current and confidential
- Coordinate with dental providers to facilitate treatment timelines and follow-up appointments
- Communicate effectively via phone and client communication channels to confirm appointments and relay important information
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry, typing reports, and maintaining organized patient files in compliance with health regulation policies
Skills
- 2 yearexperience in a dental office treatment coordination/reception
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and correspondence
- Familiarity with patient management software, EMR/EHR systems, and electronic health records management
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with patients
- Knowledge of health insurance procedures, billing practices, and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care settings
- Effective phone communication skills combined with professional client interaction capabilities
- Fast and accurate typing skills to support administrative efficiency
