We are looking for a highly accurate, detail-driven Controller who takes personal responsibility for correctness and precision. This role is designed for someone who prefers structure, defined systems, and factual work, and who takes pride in getting things right.
This is a technical, execution-focused role working closely with and through a CFO. Success in this role comes from discipline, follow-through, and consistent attention to detail.

Core Responsibilities
- Maintain clean, accurate books across multiple companies and entities
- Own month-end and year-end close processes with consistency and discipline
- Manage general ledger activity, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and internal controls
- Identify discrepancies and resolve issues early and thoroughly
- Support the CFO with accurate reporting, schedules, and documentation
- Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax professionals
- Document, refine, and enforce accounting systems and processes
- Ensure delegated work is completed correctly and closed out fully
Experience & Background
- Strong accounting background with multi-entity experience
- Prior experience working for or through a CFO
- Deep experience with reconciliations, close processes, and financial controls
- Comfortable working independently in a structured environment

We operate a scaled, field-based contracting business with a large workforce, significant labor and equipment costs, project-based and recurring revenue streams, and seasonal demand. The business has grown rapidly and now requires disciplined accounting execution, strong controls, and reliable financial reporting to support operational decision-making and prepare for a future transaction.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
